John Lyall's memorial service takes place at 2pm this afternoon at St Mary-Le-Tower Church, Tower Street after a private family funeral this morning. Lyall, 66, died of a heart attack at his Tattingstone home last month.

Town shirts will soon be a common sight on the streets of Hamrin in Iraq thanks to supporter Mark Stoneman. Mark, who is in the US Army, is urging fellow fans to join ITFC in giving their old kit to football-loving Iraqi children.

Town boss Joe Royle has named an 18-man squad for Friday's live Sky TV game at Sheffield United. Tommy Miller, Jim Magilton, Ian Westlake, Kelvin Davis and Chris Bart-Williams have all missed training this week but came through Wednesday's session without a problem.
